  • Andrea Bivens

    Andrea Bivens is a visual arts enthusiast and professional. She has a Bachelors of Applied Science degree in Motion Graphic Design. She currently works in the industry as a graphic designer. For more than 20 years, Andrea supported public, private and christian-based businesses with visual communications. As a design contributor and a visual content expert, Andrea has substantially provided her multidisciplinary background in computer science, web development, film & animation, and motion graphic design.

    Christye McQueen

    My name is Christye McQueen. I was raised on a farm in rural Alabama until we relocated to Hayward California, in my early teens. I have a Bachelor's in business and recently acquired a Bachelor's in health information management. I worked as a health emergency coordinator for Contra Costa County until I became disabled due to an injury in 2018.

    I am interested in elevating our community, focusing on youth so they can visualize a productive future.

  • Deborah Roberts

    Deborah Roberts is a retired IT Specialist/Project Manager from a Major Oil Company., after 37+ years of service and currently is an officer/member of the Contra Costa Health Ministry Network and the Health Ministry Coordinator of the Body & Soul Health Ministry at First AME Community Church, Bay Point, CA. Since my retirement in 2010, I am currently enjoying my passion of community service, involvement and community outreach. Over the years, I have participated in various community initiatives, projects and participated on leadership committees. Educating and empowering individuals to make healthy long-lasting changes in their lives and the lives of others.

    My mission is to educate and empower others to make healthy behavioral changes and healthier choices to combat various disease disparities that our society is currently faced with so they can do better, be healthier and live longer. I design and implement educational health related workshops/programs to address the current community health disparities. Change happens when we make changes. When people know better they can do better. Knowledge applied properly is power.

    Jackie Lewis

    My name is Jackie Lewis. I’m a Board member of Darius Jones Foundation (DJF) as the Administrative Assistant. With over 30 years of experience as a secretary functioning in various capacities with a diverse array of work experiences within the administrative support field, ranging between mid-senior level and executive level leadership with an Associates of Science Degree: Business Office Technology Administrative Assistant.

    I’m a Cancer survivor considered to be a walking miracle having survived different cancers. Due to my diagnosis, I have a passion for women’s healthcare, and I can’t stress enough the importance of getting checkups and fighting for your rights in healthcare.

  • Renee Malsom

    Renee Malsom

    Renee Malsom has over 20 years of experience working in various government departments for Contra Costa County. Renee currently works for Contra Costa County Health Services as an administrator, her role includes managing multi-million-dollar budgets and remaining current on and adhering to county, state, and federal regulations.

    Renee holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master’s in Business from the University of Phoenix. Renee has worked with community providers throughout her career, and is well versed in the issues and hurdles they must navigate when working with government agencies.

    Theresa is a great collaborator, who is rich in resources. She is passionate about the health and safety of others and supports the self-efficacy of teaching one to be resillient. Her partnership through Healthy Collaborations, LLC affords her the opportunity to share this knowledge within the community.
